Frey House II
Ongoing · Frey House II · Palm Springs
Albert Frey's 800-square-foot glass-and-steel home, built into the mountainside above the Palm Springs Art Museum with a boulder anchoring the living room. It was the highest residence in the city when completed and remains a touchstone of desert modernism. Access is by guided tour only — Saturday shuttles run from the museum, with additional tours during Modernism Week.
