Privacy Policy

Effective September 12, 2026.

The short version: You can browse and save things without an account. Accounts are optional: sign in with your email (a one-time link, no password) and your saved list syncs across your devices. You decide whether to include your email when you send us a correction or a link. We don't sell data and we don't run ad-tracking. Here's the full picture.

1. What we collect.

• Accounts are optional. You can browse and save things without an account. If you want your saves to sync across devices, you can create one with just your email (a one-time sign-in link, no password); your email is then your account identity.
• Saved items. Without an account, your saved list lives in your browser's local storage and isn't sent to us. If you sign in, your saved list is also stored on our server, tied to your email, so it syncs across your devices; deleting your account removes it. An account stores your email, a sign-in cookie, and your saved list; we use your email only to sign you in and to send account notices.
• Anonymous, aggregate analytics. We use a privacy-friendly, cookieless web analytics tool to understand roughly how many people visit and which pages are popular. It doesn't build a profile of you or track you across other sites. It records things like page views, referring sites, and general location at the country/region level, not anything that identifies you personally.
• What you send us on a form. If you suggest a correction to a listing or send us a link, we store what you typed so a person can read it and act on it. Your email is optional. Include it and we'll use it only to follow up about what you sent. Leave it blank and your submission is anonymous, and we still read it.
• A scrambled code instead of your IP address. To keep automated spam off those forms, we convert the IP address a submission arrives from into a scrambled code that cannot be converted back, then count how many submissions share that code over a few minutes. We store the code, not the address.

2. What we don't do. We don't sell or rent your data. We don't use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. We don't create personal profiles.

3. Third-party links. When you click through to a ticketing, venue, or organizer site, that site's own privacy practices apply, not ours.

4. Children. Regulars is a general-audience guide and isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

5. Your choices. You can clear your local saved items anytime by clearing your browser's site data. If you created an account, you can delete it, and everything saved to it, from the account page at any time. If you sent us a submission and included your email, write to hello@regulars.in and we'll delete it. If you sent one without an email, there's nothing tied to your identity for us to look up.

6. Changes. If we start collecting anything new, we'll update this policy and the effective date, and tell you before the change takes effect.
