Pioneertown Mane Street

The dirt main street of a 1946 Western movie set built by Dick Curtis with Roy Rogers and Dale Evans. More than 50 Westerns were shot here, in real buildings rather than facades. Now a National Register historic district; free mock gunfights run most weekends, April through October.
