Tahquitz Canyon hike

A hike on Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians tribal land to a seasonal 60-foot waterfall, past rock art and ancient Cahuilla irrigation systems.

The trailhead Visitor Center has cultural exhibits and a theater; tickets are sold at the trailhead and water is required on the trail.

Free ranger-led interpretive hikes (~2.5 hrs) leave the Visitor Center daily at 8am, 10am, noon, and 2pm (Oct–June) or 8am only (July–Sept).

Hours: 7:30am–5pm daily Oct 1–July 4, then Fri–Sun only July 5–Sept 30; last trail entry 3:30pm.
