2027 Coachella Valley Media Hall of Fame

The Coachella Valley Journalism Foundation (CVJF) hosts its fourth annual Coachella Valley Media Hall of Fame induction ceremony and celebratory luncheon. Legendary Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative journalist Carl Bernstein will deliver keynote remarks on the legacy of investigative journalism and its role in today's environment. The 2027 inductees being honored for their distinguished dedication to community service are Joan Behrmann (posthumously), Héctor Félix Sr., Brad Fuhr, and Thalia Hayden. Emceed by NBC Palm Springs anchor Olivia Sandusky, the program will also honor local journalists with Journalist of the Year and Rising Star awards. All attendees receive a complimentary copy of Carl Bernstein's memoir, Chasing History: A Kid in the Newsroom. All proceeds directly benefit local newsrooms through grantmaking by the CVJF.
