Anniversary with the dedication of an extraordinary new addition to its permanent collection— an iconic Blue Angels F/A-18 Super Hornet featured in Top Gun: Maverick as one of Captain Pete
“Maverick” Mitchell’s on-camera aircraft.
This remarkable aircraft becomes the first F/A-18 Super Hornet ever placed on permanent public display outside a military installation, offering visitors an unprecedented opportunity to experience one of America’s most advanced frontline fighters up close.
The daytime Air Fair features historic aircraft displays, live entertainment, food trucks, family activities, birthday celebrations, veteran tributes, and special exhibits honoring three decades of preserving America’s aviation heritage. Included with regular museum admission. Free for PS Air Museum members
Special Evening Veterans Day Program – 6:00 PM – Requires Separate Ticket
The celebration continues with an elegant evening dedication featuring refreshments, patriotic presentations, and a distinguished keynote speaker as the Museum formally welcomes this historic aircraft into its world-renowned collection. This memorable Veterans Day program honors the men and women who have served our nation while celebrating thirty years of inspiring future generations through aviation history.
