Are You A Humanist?

Millions of people share humanist values without knowing about the humanist movement. We will watch short videos of Fish Stark, the new CEO of the American Humanist Association (AHA), presenting his vision for the organization and how its messages can be brought to the millions who may be humanists even if they do not know it. Under his leadership the AHA is already experiencing renewed growth. Jim Barnett will discuss how he explains humanism to others and how he came to this understanding. Furthermore, Carsten Smidt will share his path to humanism, explain his support for the AHA, and introduce the “Ten Commitments,” which promote human dignity, freedom, ethical responsibility, and democratic values.
