Art Workshop: Tabletop Nicho

Join Raices Cultura staff artists at Sunnylands Center & Gardens for a fun, hands-on studio session where you create your own tabletop nicho—a Latinx folk art shadow box honoring a loved one, figure, or idea. Using paint, collage, and mixed media, this workshop is open to all skill levels and offers a creative, relaxed environment. Fee: $28.29 per participant. All art supplies will be provided. Please bring a painting shirt or apron and any personal items you would like to include, i.e. photographs, ephemera, if you are dedicating your nicho to a departed loved one. Registration required. Participants must be 12 years old or older. Workshop fees are nonrefundable within 10 days prior to event.
