Join the Palm Springs Cultural Center for two special events presented in recognition of National Disability Employment Awareness Month and National Dwarfism Advocacy Month:
• 3:00 PM | Emily Rapp Black in Conversation with Corey Roskin: A conversation with New York Times bestselling memoirist Emily Rapp Black discussing her newest book, I Would Die If I Were You: Notes on Art and Truth Telling, which explores how art helps navigate grief and loss while celebrating the spirit-lifting potential of creative acts. Includes a craft activity.
• 6:00 PM | Veronica & Buttinskis Film Screenings: A screening of two short films followed by a panel discussion with featured actors and creatives Selene Luna, Taryn Manning, John T. Stapleton, and Christophe Zajac-Denek, moderated by Corey Roskin. Veronica is a 2026 dark comedy short following a little person actress and her agent as they hunt for genuine acting roles in Hollywood. Buttinskis is a 2026 short comedy film created by and starring Christophe Zajac-Denek using comedy and social commentary to draw from his experience as a performer with dwarfism.
