COME FROM AWAY / Dezart Performs

Dezart Performs (dezartperforms.org) launches its 2026–2027 Season with COME FROM AWAY, featuring book, music, and lyrics by Irene Sankoff and David Hein. The internationally celebrated musical recounts the true story of how the people of Gander, Newfoundland opened their homes and hearts to thousands of stranded travelers in the days following 9/11. With its soaring score, humor, and deeply human storytelling, this production sets the tone for a season centered on compassion, resilience, and connection.
