Robert Harling's beloved masterpiece brings us inside Truvy's Louisiana beauty shop, where six remarkable women gossip, bicker, celebrate, and grieve their way through the most ordinary — and most extraordinary — moments of their lives. There's Truvy, whose hair philosophy is a gospel unto itself. Annelle, the nervous newcomer finding her footing. Clairee, the widow with a razor-sharp wit. Ouiser, the town curmudgeon who's always right. M'Lynn, the mother holding everything together. And Shelby, whose radiant spirit will change them all forever.
