The Vandals

More than 45 years after forming in Huntington Beach, California, in 1980, The Vandals remain one of the most enduring and unmistakable bands to emerge from the Southern California punk scene. The band's longtime lineup features vocalist Dave Quackenbush, guitarist Warren Fitzgerald, bassist Joe Escalante, and drummer Josh Freese. Known for breakneck tempos, infectious melodies, and a sense of humor that gleefully veers between juvenile, absurd, and sharply satirical, The Vandals have carved out a legacy entirely their own. Albums including 'When in Rome Do as The Vandals' (1984), 'Live Fast, Diarrhea' (1995), 'Oi to the World!' (1996), and 'Hitler Bad, Vandals Good' (1998) have become staples of the band's catalog, helping cement their influence on generations of punk bands that followed.
