CV Changemakers Collective Inaugural Meeting

The Rancho Mirage Chamber of Commerce is bringing together business and nonprofit leaders for the inaugural meeting of the CV Changemakers Collective, a new initiative designed to strengthen partnerships, expand resources and create lasting community impact throughout the Coachella Valley.
With more than 100 nonprofit organizations among its members, the Chamber is launching the Collective to connect organizations serving local families, seniors, youth, animals and other community needs with businesses and individuals ready to make a difference. The initiative aims to turn goodwill into meaningful partnerships through volunteerism, philanthropy, leadership and professional support.
The inaugural gathering will bring together executive leaders from the Chamber's nonprofit member organizations to help shape the Collective's priorities and introduce several new initiatives, including the Changemakers Pledge, partnerships with the Young Professionals Network and the Advertising Federation of the Desert, and opportunities for nonprofits to share their needs with the business community.
A centerpiece of the initiative is the Changemakers Pledge, built around five pillars: Give, Serve, Lead, Connect and Sustain. Launching November 1 with 20 founding Changemakers, the campaign aims to secure 100 pledges in 100 days, encouraging businesses, organizations and individuals to contribute their time, resources, expertise and leadership.
The CV Changemakers Collective represents a new chapter in regional collaboration, bringing together those who serve the community with those who have the resources and connections to help them succeed.
