Kewet Native American Learning Day and Market

KEWET: Native American Learning Day and Market is an annual event held by the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians at Palm Springs High School. Kewet, which is a cahuilla word for “fiesta”, aims to educate the Greater Palm Springs community about Native American Culture and history. This all day event features a variety of activities such as bird singers, dancers, basket weaving, beading, traditional games, food, and a Native American Market.
