What is the Point?
An Evening Talk with Buddhist Teacher, Gen Kelsang Lekma
Monday, November 9, 2026
6:00-7:15pm: Evening Talk
7:15-8:00pm: Enjoy refreshments and chat after the talk
In this talk, special guest and Buddhist Teacher, Gen Kelsang Lekma will explore one of life’s biggest questions: what is the point? At times, we may find our world leaving us feeling increasingly purposeless, whether through anxiety about the future, changing ideas about work and health, or just the realization that the things we thought would make us happy often fail to satisfy our desires.
Drawing on Buddha’s ancient wisdom, Gen Lekma will examine patterns that keep us trapped and will explain how to view life differently so a deeper purpose can be found. Everyone is welcome to learn how to find meaning and what is obstructing it.
You'll discover:
Why modern life feels empty of meaning
What causes feelings of pointlessness
How to discover your sense of purpose
Everyone welcome!
