Rebecca Dmytryk is a human-wildlife conflict specialist and a nationally recognized expert in poison-free rodent control. In this presentation, she will share practical, sustainable solutions for both preventing and resolving conflicts with our local wildlife—including mice and rats. Grounded in ecology, compassion, and a deep respect for animals and the environment, Dmytryk's science-based approach addresses the root causes of conflict rather than simply treating the symptoms. Dmytryk is President and CEO of Humane Wildlife Control Inc., and has worked with wildlife for over 40 years. She also directs Wildlife Emergency Services, an all-volunteer-run program based on the central coast of California, and authored the 2012 book Wildlife Search and Rescue: A Guide for First Responders.
