When war broke out, over two thousand civilian women pilots volunteered for service. 1038 women served in the U.S. Armed Forces as civilian pilots to assist with the war effort during WW2. This presentation takes a look back at the history of the WASPS and some of the 38 women pilots who lost their lives.
